Net Control 2 is a network remote control and administration software for public access computers, a Client/Server application, which allows controlling and performing different operations on computers remotely. This scheme assumes that software consists in two parts:

• Net Control 2 Client – is a part of administrator, should be installed on Administrator computers.
• Net Control 2 Server – is a User part of the software, which should be installed on all User computers that you wish to control.

For transporting of control commands from one computer to other Net Control 2 uses Microsoft Winsock 2 network interface, and TCP/IP network protocol as a subset of this interface.  Therefore, Net Control 2 may be used for remote controlling of computers in local networks, wireless networks and Internet; but because Net Control 2 does not use encryption, transferring data over the network, we recommend to use Net Control 2 only in local or VPN networks.

Net Control 2 User Interface Command Control:

A – Main part – Remote Computers list/Groups list/About software (depending on the tab selection at the bottom of window):

Remote computers list – contains shortcuts of Net Control 2 connections. Net Control 2 can display shortcuts as thumbnails of Desktop of remote computers, icons or table. The view type of this list you can customize in the context menu of the list. The state of a connection may be determined by the view of icon or message in the Thumbnail view. Groups list – may contain the list of logical groups created and found in the local network. More about using Net Control 2 groups please read here.

About software – contains version number and contact information for the current version of the software.

B – Quick Commands list – customizable list of Net Control 2 commands. To customize the list, use menu command [N] -> Options -> Client Options -> Quick Commands List.

С – Remote Computers list management tools – buttons for managing shortcuts of remote connections (add a new connection, edit/delete connection, view options)

D – the main toolbar. Contains shortcuts for most important Net Control 2 features.
